Domaine Jean Tardy Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "Aux Argillas" 2019, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir grown in a 0.39-hectare parcel planted in 1969 and 1973, with clay-limestone soils and a north-south orientation. The grapes were fully destemmed, with 65% whole berries retained, and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks using minimal punch-downs. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, split evenly between new and one-year-old wood, and racked once before bottling.

Tasting Note:
Aromas of dark cherry, black fruit, earth and spice on the nose. Firm attack. Concentrated fruit on the mid-palate with structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows good length and 12-18 years of ageing potential.
