Domaine Jean Tardy Vosne Romanee "Vigneux" 2023, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from 70-year-old vines in the village-level lieu-dit of Vigneux, situated on rich clay-limestone soils directly. The grapes were 100% destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in temperature-controlled vats. The wine aged in French oak barrels (approx. 30% new oak) for 12 to 14 months before resting in vats prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of black cherry, ripe red berry fruit, violet florals, and exotic Vosne spices, layered with subtle undertones of crushed earth and light oak toast. The palate is medium-bodied, velvety, and supple, offering generous red and dark fruit flavors supported by fine-grained, elegant tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, and harmonious, leaving spice and juicy fruit notes.
