Domaine Jean Tardy Chambolle Musigny "Les Athets" 2020, 750ml is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Chambolle-Musigny “Les Athets” 2019 is made from 100% destemmed Pinot Noir grown on a small parcel within the lieu-dit “Les Athets,” located just below the village of Chambolle-Musigny. The site features fine-textured limestone soils with moderate clay content. Vines are mature, averaging over 40 years of age. Fermentation begins with a cold maceration in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, followed by a three-week indigenous yeast fermentation with gentle extraction. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
Tasting Note:
Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal and earth on the nose. Elegant attack. Silky fruit on the mid-palate with fine tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish shows good length and 10-15 years of ageing potential.
