Domaine Tinel Blondelet Pouilly Fume "Arret Buffatte" Blanc 2023, 750ml

100% Sauvignon Blanc grown on 45-year-old vines planted in Kimmeridgian marl soils within a geologically sheltered amphitheatre at the top of the slopes overlooking the Loire River. The vineyard benefits from a southwest exposure and is farmed without synthetic fertilizers or insecticides. Fermentation took place in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks following natural cold settling of the must, with no malolactic conversion. The wine was aged on fine lees with successive stirring and late bottling to enhance texture and complexity.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, it reveals aromas of pear, green apple, lemon, and white flowers, underpinned by the region’s hallmark flinty minerality. The palate is vibrant and textured, with citrus-driven acidity and a mineral backbone. Overall, it’s a precise and expressive Pouilly-Fumé that combines aromatic clarity with ageing potential and terroir transparency.
