Domaine des Berthiers "Saint Andelain" Pouilly Fume 2024, 750ml

The Saint Andelain cuvée is crafted from Sauvignon Blanc vineyards situated in Silex Soil around the village. The grapes are picked at full ripeness, gently pressed, undergo cold stabilization for 8 days, and ferment at low temperatures. Following this, the wine matures for 6 months on its lees before being bottled.

Tasting Note:

The 2024 opens with aromas of white peach, grapefruit, lemon zest, green apple, and elderflower with pronounced flinty mineral and light herbal notes. The palate is vibrant and precise with bright citrus and stone fruit, lively acidity, smoky minerality, and a long, clean, refreshing finish. Pure, elegant, and classic Pouilly-Fumé.
