Domaine des Perdrix Echezeaux Grand Cru 2021, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from two plots totaling 1.15 hectares within "Échezeaux du Dessus" (90%) and "Quartiers de Nuits" (10%), situated on clay-limestone soils with a high clay dominance. The fruit (30% whole clusters) was macerated at low temperature for 4-6 days, followed by 15 days of fermentation with natural yeasts. The wine aged for 17 months in French oak barrels (40% new oak) and spent 2 months in tanks prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of dark cherry, strawberry, licorice, and black pepper. The palate is rich and structured, showing concentrated berry flavors supported by fine, firm tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is clean, persistent, and fruity, with a subtle mineral and saline edge.
