Domaine des Perdrix Vosne Romanee 2022, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from two plots totaling 1.08 hectares in the communal appellation of Vosne-Romanée, including the "Aux Réas" parcel situated on clay-limestone soils near Premier Cru "Clos des Réas." The fruit (30% whole clusters) was macerated at low temperature for 4-6 days followed by 15 days of fermentation with natural yeasts. The wine aged for 15 to 17 months in French oak barrels (30% to 40% new oak) and spent 2 months in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of ripe black cherry, blackcurrant, violet, and subtle baking spice with a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is velvety, rich, and well-structured, showing generous dark fruit flavors supported by refined, supple tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and harmonious.
