Domaine Pierre Morey Monthelie Rouge 2020, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from 1.32 hectares of vines planted in 1965 across six lieux-dits around the village of Monthelie, with a mix of red and chalky soils rich in stones. The grapes were fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, with a restrained use of new wood to preserve purity.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, the wine shows red cherry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes. The palate is soft and balanced from youth, with fine tannins and a gentle mineral finish. Overall, it’s a charming and expressive Monthelie that reflects its varied terroirs with finesse.
