Domaine Matrot Meursault Rouge 2021, 750ml

Pinot Noir planted in clay limestone soils. Grapes were hand harvested fully destemmed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using indigenous yeast. The wine was aged for about 15 months in French oak barrels with approximately 20% new oak to add structure while preserving fruit purity.

Tasting Note:

The nose shows aromas of red cherry raspberry and subtle floral notes with a touch of spice. The palate is medium bodied with fresh red fruit fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a clean mineral finish. Overall it offers a precise and elegant expression of Meursault Rouge with clarity and finesse.
