Domaine Matrot Auxey Duresses Rouge 2020, 750ml

Auxey Duresses Rouge 2019 is 100% Pinot Noir planted in clay limestone soils. Grapes were hand harvested fully destemmed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using indigenous yeast. The wine was aged for about 15 months in French oak barrels with approximately 20% new oak to preserve fruit purity while adding subtle structure.

Tasting Note

The nose shows aromas of red cherry, raspberry, subtle forest floor and gentle earth notes. The palate is medium bodied with fresh red fruit, fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a clean mineral finish. Overall it offers a precise and elegant expression of Auxey Duresses with clarity and finesse.
