Domaine Matrot Saint Aubin 1er Cru "Le Charmois" 2020, 750ml

Very close to Chassagne-Montrachet, almost contiguous, Le Charmois is a fascinating vintage for its opulence and rich texture. Tasting it blind, it is reminiscent of the very fine climats of Puligny-Montrachet with its rich texture and richness. Fermentation begins thanks to the indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes. Aging is carried out on lees for 12 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.

Tasting note:

Very fresh notes of hazelnut and chestnut honey, beautiful acidity that verticalizes this Saint-Aubin to infinity.
