Domaine Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru "Clos de la Boudriotte" Rouge 2021, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines (average over 60 years) in the 0.62ha walled Clos de la Boudriotte Premier Cru mid-slope in Chassagne-Montrachet with red clay over limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, given a cold pre-fermentation maceration, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open wooden vats followed by gentle extraction. Malolactic completed. Aged 18 months in oak barrels using 30% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and wild strawberry along with earth and light spice notes. The palate delivers medium body and finesse with silky tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of refined elegance and persistent clarity reflecting the cool vintage character.
