Domaine Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru "Boudriotte" Blanc 2020, 750ml

100% Chardonnay from old vines (average over 60 years) in the Les Boudriottes Premier Cru (0.62ha) mid-slope in Chassagne-Montrachet with red clay over limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, whole cluster pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in tank before transfer to oak barrels. Malolactic completed. Aged 12-15 months in oak barrels using 30-35% new wood with extended lees contact and no batonnage.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show ripe yellow apple and mirabelle plum along with toasted almond and white flower notes. The palate delivers generous volume and richness with creamy texture and firm underlying acidity. Overall impression is one of opulent power and sustained depth reflecting the warm vintage character in Côte de Beaune Chardonnay.
