Domaine Ramonet Bienvenue Batard Montrachet Grand Cru 2020, 750ml

100% Chardonnay from old vines (over 50 years) in the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (0.53ha) on the Puligny-Montrachet side with limestone-rich clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, whole cluster pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in tank before transfer to oak barrels. Malolactic completed. Aged 12-15 months in oak barrels using 33% new wood with extended lees contact and no batonnage.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show white peach and citrus along with almond and mineral notes. The palate delivers density and creaminess with layered texture and vibrant acidity. Overall impression is one of profound balance and endless persistence reflecting the warm yet structured vintage character in Côte de Beaune Chardonnay.
