Lumiere "Histoire" Blanc 2022, 750ml

A blend of Delaware (majority), Chardonnay, Koshu, and Mills from estate vineyards in Katsunuma on alluvial soils with decomposed granite. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels (a portion new wood), followed by ageing sur lie in the same barrels.
Malolactic completed.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show lychee and citrus peel along with honey and nut notes. The palate delivers viscous richness and minerality with balanced texture and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of complex depth and gentle persistence reflecting the barrel-aged blend style of Yamanashi white wine.
