Domaine de la Garreliere "Cendrillon" Blanc 2022, 750ml

This Sauvignon Blanc comes from a 2.5-hectare plot planted in 1979. The vineyard faces south-southeast and sits on sandy soil with flint clay underneath.

The wine undergoes gentle pneumatic pressing for 3 hours, followed by a 12-hour settling period. Alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts lasts 3-4 weeks, with 1/3 of the wine aged in 500-liter barrels and the rest in tanks for 8 months. It is bottled before summer.

Tasting Note:

This flagship wine of the estate is based on low yields and reveals a strong personality. Sauvignon vinified for two-thirds in vats and the rest in barrels, this white displays a singular expression of linden and lemon combined with herbal and mineral notes.
