Domaine Dupraz, "Montracul" Apremont 2024, 750ml

This 100% Jacquère is sourced from century-old vines (over 100 years old) planted on steep, terraced slopes with a heavy clay dominance (80% clay) in the lieu-dit Montracul in Apremont. The organic grapes were press slowly and fermented using indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled vats. The wine aged on its fine lees for up to 18 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with delicate aromas of fresh green apple, orchard pear, white flowers, and toasted notes. The palate is fresh, elegant, and precise, offering vibrant white fruit and citrus flavors, a subtle suppleness, noticeable minerality, and crisp acidity. The finish is clean, persistent, and dry, with a savory saline note.
