Chateau de Caraguilhes "Les Gourgoules" Corbieres Rouge 2024, 750ml

Produced from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in the Terroir de Boutenac within Corbières, planted on clay‑limestone soils with rolled pebbles. The 2024 blend is composed of 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 15% Carignan, with part of the Syrah and Carignan vinified using carbonic maceration, alongside traditional fermentation. Ageing is carried out exclusively in tank to preserve freshness and fruit clarity. Certified organic since 1987, with Ecocert, Biodyvin and Demeter certifications. Bottled at around 14% abv.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and olive tapenade with notes of pepper, rosemary and garrigue on the nose. The palate opens with a silky attack, showing juicy dark fruit framed by fine, supple tannins and fresh acidity. Medium‑bodied and well balanced, with savoury nuances and a clean, vibrant finish that emphasizes freshness and drinkability.
