Chateau de Caraguilhes "Les Gourgoules" Corbieres Rouge 2023, 750ml

Chateau de Caraguilhes Les Gourgoules Corbieres Rouge 2023 is produced from vineyards in Corbieres with limestone and clay soils planted to 50% Grenache 35% Syrah and 15% Carignan. Grapes were harvested and the Carignan portion underwent carbonic fermentation while Grenache and Syrah were traditionally fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using selected yeast. The wine was aged briefly in stainless steel to preserve fruit purity and freshness.

Tasting Note:

The nose shows aromas of red cherry raspberry and subtle spice with a hint of garrigue herbs. The palate is medium bodied with vibrant red fruit supple tannins and balanced acidity leading to a clean finish. Overall it offers a lively and expressive Corbieres profile with clarity and balance.
