Chateau de Caraguilhes "Le Trou de l'Ermite" Corbieres Boutenac Rouge 2023, 750ml

Chateau de Caraguilhes Le Trou de l’Ermite Corbieres Boutenac Rouge 2023 is produced from vineyards in Corbieres Boutenac with limestone and clay soils planted to 50% Carignan 20% Grenache and 30% Syrah. Grapes were harvested destemmed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using selected yeast. The wine was aged for 6 months in French oak barrels that were two and three years old to add subtle complexity without overt wood influence.

Tasting Note:

The nose shows aromas of black cherry blackberry and garrigue herbs with a touch of spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with ripe dark fruit fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a smooth finish. Overall it offers a structured and expressive Corbieres Boutenac profile with clarity and freshness.
