It was matured for 50 years in a single sherry hogshead, #2003 (distilled in 1969 and bottled in 2019). Only 125 bottles were produced worldwide.
Nose: Rich sherry - prune, raisin, brown sugar, spice. Hints of butterscotch, ginger, orange peel, gentle smoke.
Palate: Peppery start, ripe apricot, peach, dried tobacco leaf, touch of menthol.
Finish: Fruity, mellow oak, lingering with sherry and oak character.
Overall: Balanced, elegant, complex with sherry, subtle smoke, and fruit. Rare and precious.
