Founded in 1826 by James Henderson and George Traill, the Old Pulteney Distillery holds the distinction of being one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland.

Old Pulteney's whiskies capture the taste of the sea in every drop with coastal and salty flavors, thanks to its location near the North Sea.

Aged in hand-picked, air-dried ex-bourbon casks for twelve years, Old Pulteney 12 is the core expression of the distillery.

Aromas: medium to high intensity with a briny hint of sea air.

Palate: Dry, medium bodied and smooth, redolent of honey and cream, faintly salty with a slight spicy note and a sweet long-lasting finish.
