The 70-year-old Glenlivet was distilled in 1943, matured in a first filled Sherry Hogshead #121, and bottled at 49.1% ABV in 2013.

Tasting Note:

Nose: Elegant and layered, with aromas of coffee, milk chocolate, burnt orange, and wood spice, wrapped in a soft leathery warmth.

Palate: Full-bodied and silky, offering bitter chocolate, treacle, burnt caramel, and rich sherry, balanced by orange zest and a touch of dry nuttiness.

Finish: Long and harmonious, with lingering notes of coffee, stewed fruits, sherry, and a gentle nutty dryness.
