Aberfeldy 31 Year Old is a single cask release from the independent bottler’s Connoisseurs Choice range. Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2022 at 60% ABV, this Highland single malt was matured for 31 years in a first-fill sherry butt (Cask #4190), yielding 530 bottles. It is non-chill filtered and bottled without added colour. The whisky belongs to Batch 23/010 and showcases Gordon & MacPhail’s long-standing tradition of sourcing and ageing rare single malts from Scotland’s top distilleries.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, the whisky reveals stewed citrus, cinnamon, anise, and clove, layered over rich demerara sugar. The palate is full-bodied and complex, showing caramelised apple, toasted walnut, and pepper. The finish is medium-long, with lingering fruit and a touch of peppermint. This bottling offers a deep and mature profile, balancing sherry richness with Highland elegance.
