The whisky was filled into a refill sherry butt in 1989, which was left to mature for over three decades before being emptied in December 2021. 347 bottles were produced and presented as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range. Notes of dark cherry and pressed apples linger with nutmeg and subtle smoke. The palate gives way to sweet fruitcake and butterscotch, followed by spice and a hint of garden mint.
