Ardbeg Corryvreckan, 700ml
Founded in 1798 on the rugged shores of Islay, Ardbeg Distillery carries a legacy deeply linked with heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky. While it faced closures and ownership changes throughout its history, Ardbeg eventually found its home under the LVMH umbrella in 1997, securing its future and allowing it to flourish.
What truly sets Ardbeg apart is its unwavering commitment to peat. The barley used in their whisky is heavily peated over Islay's own peat fires, infusing the spirit with an unmistakable smoky, medicinal character.
Ardbeg Corryvreckan is matured in ex-bourbon casks and takes its name from the famous whirlpool that lies to the north of Islay, where only the bravest souls dare to venture.
