Glenrothes 11 Year Old, "Discovery" G&M, 700ml

This single malt was distilled at Glenrothes distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was aged 11 years and finished in a sherry cask, resulting in a fruity and chocolaty smooth whisky. 

Nose: Cinnamon butter, chocolate covered toffee and toasted malt, with sherried dried fruit and more baking spices.

Palate: Forest fruit jam on fresh toast, perhaps slightly burnt, with stewed orchard fruit and more cinnamon.

Finish: Orange peel, a hint of raisin and melted dark chocolate.
