Chateau Talbot 2021, 750ml

This blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot is sourced from 110 hectares of gravel-dominant soils over a sandstone bedrock in Saint-Julien. The grapes were sorted and fermented in temperature-controlled wooden and stainless steel vats. The wine aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (60% new oak) prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

Classical aromas of cassis, fresh wild berries, tobacco leaf, and graphite open on the nose, with subtle hints of cedar and dried spices. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, and balanced, showing ripe dark fruit and subtle red berry flavors supported by fine tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is clean, persistent, and structured, ending on a fine mineral and savory note.
