Echo de Lynch Bages 2022, 750ml

Echo de Lynch Bages 2022 is sourced from the limestone gravel plateau of Pauillac where hand harvested grapes 64% Cabernet Sauvignon 31% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc were sorted at vineyard and cellar destemmed and parcel fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats and traditional wooden vats. After fermentation the wine spent 14 months in French oak barrels a mix of new and one year old wood with periodic lees stirring to build texture.

Tasting Note:

On the nose there are aromas of blackcurrant graphite tobacco and a touch of cedar. The palate is medium to full bodied showing ripe dark fruit black cherry cassis supported by firm powdery tannins gentle smoke and mineral lift. Overall it presents a structured classic Pauillac profile with balanced richness density and age worthy potential.
