Chateau Gaudin 2022, 750ml

A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 5% Carmenère, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, sourced from 11 hectares of gravel-over-clay soils on the Saint-Lambert plateau in Pauillac. The grapes were sorted and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine aged in French oak barrels (33% new oak) for 14 to 15 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, dried herbs, and leather, with hints of orange rind and cedar. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh, showing dark berry fruit supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is clean, structured, and dry, with soft notes of spice and earth.
