Mt. Beautiful Sauvignon Blanc 2023, 750ml

100% Sauvignon Blanc from estate vineyards in North Canterbury (Cheviot Hills) on gravelly limestone and clay soils at 60-120m elevation. The grapes are machine harvested at night, destemmed and gently pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. No malolactic. Aged 4-5 months on fine lees in stainless steel with occasional stirring.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show passionfruit and lime zest along with capsicum and fresh herb notes. The palate delivers intense vibrancy and focus with juicy texture and crisp acidity. Overall impression is one of bright freshness and mineral persistence reflecting the cool maritime style of North Canterbury Sauvignon Blanc.
