Mount Riley Chardonnay 2025, 750ml

100% Chardonnay sourced from multiple vineyard sites in the Wairau Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand. The grapes were hand-harvested and 100% of the wine was fermented and aged in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barriques. Partial malolactic fermentation was carried out, followed by 8 months ageing on lees.

Tasting Note:

The 2025 opens with aromas of rockmelon, lemon peel, white peach, nougat, and almond meal with subtle toasted oak. The palate is creamy and supple with bright stone fruit, balanced richness, smooth texture, lively acidity, and a lingering, juicy finish. Fruit-forward, harmonious, and approachable.
