Joh. Jos. Prum "Graacher Himmelreich" Riesling Kabinett 2023, 750ml

100% Riesling grown on west-facing slopes of weathered gray slate in the Mosel Valley, where the soils are deeper and retain water well. Vines average around 40 years of age and are ungrafted. Grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks using wild (native) yeasts, with no oak influence and no malolactic fermentation. The wine was bottled with approximately 35 g/L of residual sugar and 9% alcohol.

Tasting Note:

Aromatically, it opens with wildflowers, herbs, and stony citrus notes. The palate is light-bodied and vivid, showing green apple, lime, and white peach, with a fine mineral grip and rapier-like acidity. Overall, it is a precise and delicately expressive Kabinett, marked by purity, freshness, and a subtle off-dry balance.

Residual Sugar approx.: 40-45g/l
