Domaine Guy Amiot Bourgogne Chardonnay "Cuvee Flavie" 2021, 750ml

100% Chardonnay grown on a 0.5-hectare southeast-facing parcel just outside Chassagne-Montrachet, planted on clay-limestone soils with 45-year-old vines. Grapes were manually harvested and gently crushed before fermentation, which took place in a combination of French oak barrels (one-third) and stainless steel tanks (two-thirds), using native yeasts. The wine underwent natural malolactic fermentation at cellar temperature (13–14°C), followed by bâtonnage and 12 months of ageing before final blending and bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of white orchard fruit, citrus, and subtle mineral notes. The palate is textured and balanced, with good volume, fine acidity, and a clean, persistent finish. Overall, the wine is elegant and expressive, showing depth and freshness with restrained oak influence.
