Domaine Guy Amiot Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru "Clos St Jean" Blanc 2020, 750ml

Covering 0.24 hectares with northeast orientation and calcareous clay soil. One-third of Clos Saint Jean is planted with Chardonnay. Grapes are carefully harvested and sorted, fermented in tanks with bâtonnage and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, then aged in used and new barriques. After 12 months, the barrels are assembled in tanks to integrate for 6 months before bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of fresh and baked apples, pear, minerals, white stones, magnolia petals, and toasty notes. The palate is unctuous with a racy backbone.
