Domaine Guy Amiot Santenay Blanc V.V. 2019, 750ml

Santenay Blanc Vieilles Vignes 2019 is sourced from a 0.33 ha east-facing parcel in Santenay, planted with 45-year-old Chardonnay vines on clay and limestone soils. Grapes are fully destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, with a portion being new, for approximately 12 months before bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas reveal peach, apricot, and subtle citrus. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, mineral tension, and light oak influence. The finish is clean and focused, with ageing potential up to 10 years.
