Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot Pommard 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines in the village-level lieux-dits Les Petits Noizons and Les Cras (clay-limestone soils) totaling around 1ha in Pommard. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, given a cold pre-fermentation maceration, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open vats followed by gentle extraction. Malolactic completed. Aged 15-18 months in oak barrels using 30% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show black cherry and dark plum along with earth and subtle violet notes. The palate delivers solid density and power with firm tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of structured richness and persistent depth reflecting the concentrated 2022 vintage character.
