Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits St Georges 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from multiple old-vine parcels (average age over 50 years) totaling around 5ha in Nuits-Saint-Georges village-level sites, principally Les Porêts Saint-Georges, Les Crots, and Les Fleurières with clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks after a short cold maceration. Malolactic completed. Aged 18 months in oak barrels using 20-25% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show black cherry and dark raspberry along with earth and subtle spice notes. The palate delivers density and firmness with robust tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of powerful concentration and serious persistence reflecting the structured vintage character in Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
