Domaine de la Garreliere Le Chenin de la Colline 2021, 750ml

100% Chenin Blanc grown on 3.2 hectares of 20-year-old vines planted in clay and flint soils near Razines in Touraine. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically and certified organic. Grapes were gently pressed over three hours, followed by 12–24 hours of settling. Fermentation occurred over three weeks in concrete tanks using native yeasts. Ageing was split between stainless steel tanks (two-thirds) and old 500-liter oak barrels (one-third), with no new oak used.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of citrus, yellow fruit, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is ample yet tense, with fine acidity and a mineral-driven finish. Overall, the wine is pure and expressive, reflecting its natural vinification and vibrant terroir.
