Elizabeth Cumming, John's daughter-in-law, took over in 1872, further refining the whisky's character and establishing its iconic reputation.

Cardhu draws its water from the Mannoch Hills, softened by peat, which contributes to the smooth and mellow character of its whisky.

The Cardhu 12 Year Old Single Malt is a classic Speyside expression known for its smooth, mellow character. Matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
