Chateau de Laubade Bas Armagnac Millesime 1972, 700ml

Produced in the Bas Armagnac region by the Lesgourgues family estate, founded in 1870. Château de Laubade Millésime 1972 is part of the “Millésimes Collection,” a special release composed entirely of eaux-de-vie from the 1972 harvest. The spirit was distilled in the same year using a traditional continuous alembic still and matured in Gascony oak barrels coopered on-site. It was bottled at 40% ABV. The blend includes Baco, Colombard, Folle Blanche, and Ugni Blanc grapes, each vinified and distilled separately to preserve varietal character.
Tasting Note:
The nose opens with vanilla, toasted wood, grape must, and subtle roasted notes. The palate is fruity, round, and supple, showing balanced sweetness and soft texture. The finish is long and refined, with persistent aromatic depth and finesse. The profile is elegant and expressive, reflecting the maturity and complexity of extended ageing.
