Chateau de Laubade Armagnac Millesime 1964, 700ml

Produced in the Bas Armagnac region by the Lesgourgues family estate, founded in 1870. Château de Laubade Millésime 1964 is part of the “Millésimes Collection,” a special release composed entirely of eaux-de-vie from a single harvest and distillation year. The spirit is made from estate-grown Baco, Colombard, Folle Blanche, and Ugni Blanc grapes, distilled in a traditional continuous alembic still. It was aged for several decades in Gascony oak barrels coopered on-site and bottled at 40% ABV. Each vintage reflects the influence of cellar conditions, barrel quality, and the individual style of the cellar master.
Tasting Note:
The nose shows ripe fruits, vanilla, and plum, with soft spice and delicate oak. The palate is smooth and refined, offering notes of dried apricot, tobacco leaf, and subtle sweetness. The finish is elegant and persistent, with lingering fruit and gentle warmth. The profile is mature and harmonious, expressing the depth and character of long ageing.
