Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rose Brut 2008, 750ml

The Rosé is made of 30% Chardonnay Grands Crus from the most prestigious Côte des Blancs terroirs combined with 70% Pinot Noir sourced from the Montagne de Reims Grands Crus of which 15% is enhanced with red wine from Bouzy Pinots. Matured for 12 years on its lees before release. Dosage 9g/l.

Tasting Note:

Classy nose full of Pinot Noir fruit of exotic spices, cherries and peach. The characterful Bouzy red wines shines through. Big structure with bold tannins but there is also big fruit behind, still in a reserved stage. Great acid structure and silky textural feel.
