A medium purple color. Aromas of plums, meat, some tar and olive tapenade, complemented by dark raspberries and herbs. On the palate, the wine scores with juicy, dark berry fruit and soft tannins, with Syrah again prominent. The wine's defining vibrant energy is complemented by impressions of stone and coolness that give it a special touch.
