Martin Ray Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, 750ml

Always the most accessible of our Napa Cabernets this bottling offers bright red fruits, and soft, sinewy tannins.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a collection of tiny vineyard blocks encompassing several row orientations and slopes. Planted on volcanic benchland vineyards on the west of the Vaca Range.

Fermented in small 4-6 ton open top fermenters. Maintained moderate temperature until dry, and then basket pressed. Aged in 60% new French oak for 18 months.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of mulberries, dark plums, dark cherries, citrus peel, dried flowers and cedar. Full-to medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and lively acidity. Bright and balanced with a silky texture and fruity character. Harmonious and supple with a flavorful finish.
