Martin Ray Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from select vineyards throughout the Sonoma Coast appellation on diverse soils including Goldridge sandy loam, clay-loam, and gravelly mixes. The grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open-top fermenters after a short cold maceration, followed by 18-21 days total maceration with gentle punch-downs. Malolactic completed. Aged 10 months in French oak barrels using 20% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show fresh raspberry and plum along with candied violet and earth notes. The palate delivers juicy succulence and vibrancy with fine tannic structure and bright acidity. Overall impression is one of elegant freshness and persistent clarity reflecting the cool coastal vintage character in Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
