Domaine Jean Tardy Chambolle Musigny "Les Athets" 2019, 750ml
Chambolle-Musigny “Les Athets” 2019 is made from 100% destemmed Pinot Noir grown on a small parcel within the lieu-dit “Les Athets,” located just below the village of Chambolle-Musigny. The site features fine-textured limestone soils with moderate clay content. Vines are mature, averaging over 40 years of age. Fermentation begins with a cold maceration in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, followed by a three-week indigenous yeast fermentation with gentle extraction. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
Tasting Note:
On the nose, it reveals red cherry, peony, and subtle spice. The palate is dry and vibrant, with high acidity, medium-plus tannins, and a long, mineral finish. Overall, it’s a finely structured village-level Chambolle that balances elegance and depth with clarity and precision.
