Herdade do Esporao Monte Velho Branco 2023, 375ml

Esporão Monte Velho Branco 2023 is a white blend from the Alentejo region, composed of Antão Vaz, Arinto, Roupeiro, and Gouveio. The grapes are sourced from vineyards averaging 18 years of age, planted on granite and schist soils. Fermentation was carried out with temperature control: 80% in stainless steel tanks and 20% in used American and French oak barrels, followed by six months of ageing on fine lees. The wine underwent destemming, cold settling, pressing, and static decantation of the must.

Aromatically, it shows citrus and white fruit with subtle spice. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant, with a long, vibrant finish. Overall, the wine reflects the warm, dry 2023 vintage and Esporão’s commitment to precision and regional expression.
