Domaine de la Garreliere Le Blanc de la Mariee 2022, 750ml

Le Blanc de la Mariee is a Sauvignon Blanc made from a 3.20 ha plot, with vines aged 20-25 years, growing on sandy over flint clay.

The wine undergoes gentle pneumatic pressing for 3 hours, followed by a 2-3 week alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts. It is aged on fine lees in tanks for 6 months, with cold stabilization and SO2 adjustment during aging, and is bottled in spring.

Tasting Note:

Bright translucent color. The aroma is typical of a fresh Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire such as lime, blackcurrant leaf, grass and gooseberry. The taste is dry, richly acidic and summery.
