Les Curiosites de Laubade "L'Agricole" Bas Armagnac, 500ml

This limited-edition Bas Armagnac comes from the 2012 vintage and is made from a blend of Ugni Blanc and Baco grapes. It is aged for six years in 430-liter Gascony oak barrels, then finished for six months in French oak casks from Château Haut Selve, which previously held Rhum Agricole from the Clément family in Martinique. The final spirit is bottled at 41% ABV in 50cl format, with only 1,248 numbered bottles released.

The result is a carefully made expression that combines Gascon tradition with a subtle tropical influence.

Tasting Note:

A racy Bas Armagnac with the sweetness of vanilla and spice, this seductive brandy can be enjoyed as an aperitif or digestif,  Its amber hue hints at the aromas of vanilla, pastry and orange citrus that emerge. The complex palate is complemented by a roundness of texture and a delicate and silky finish.
